For coL.Dota, today begins their journey through the most important two weeks of their gaming career as they take to the skies and head to Seattle, Washington for The International 2016! The International 2016 is the sixth iteration of Dota 2’s flagship annual championship which will take place at the KeyArena Center in Seattle, Washington. The 2016 edition of The International will feature sixteen Dota 2 professional teams from all over the world.

With a prize pool of over $19 million, The International 2016 is the largest tournament to ever take place in eSports, breaking the record held by its previous iteration, The International 2015, which accumulated $18 million. The majority of this sum is collected through several in-game items released by Valve, including the The International Compendium 2016, a digital book tied to the event, and which comes with many activities and cosmetic items.

compLexity managed to qualify for the event by placing second in the American Regional Qualifier. The team must now battle through the wildcard and be seeded directly into the main event that begins on August 3rd.
