So I stumbled on this website that is kinda new. But has been around a bit. Not sure the exact date, anyway. I went and checked it out. Turns out these guys are the founders of www.dotaportal.com , was very cool website for the insite of starcraft2. Check it out.

dotaportal.com is pretty terrible. they broke off from dota-allstars.com so they can make money instead of just promote the game. if that's what they are trying to do with this new one, watch out =X

pretty much, i have a friend who runs a sc2 website similar to that, and he does it just to make $$$.

As soon as StarCraft 2 comes out TeamLiquid.net will be the only place you should go to.

The best StarCraft strategy section in English, dozens of people who have already played SC2, and hundreds if not thousands of people already theorycrafting for the game.

It also has the best StarCraft Professional database in the world, so much so that many top level Korean Professional StarCraft players know of and and use the site. If you want to watch any recorded match that's happened in the past 10 years, you can find a link to a youtube video of it, possibly commentated by knowledgeable casters, and in less than 5 minutes.

The admins are well organized, intelligent, and the community is newb-friendly.
