ventrilo issue

So today i got on ventrilo and i couldn't hear anything. Every other application i can hear perfect but no sound on ventrilo. I can talk and people can hear me but i can't hear them, anybody know how to solve this? I'm running vista

Is your output/input device and hardware input mixer stuff set up?

You might think it is, but a second look could show it isn't. I've had that several times, cause I use USB headset and speakers and switch between the two plus I change my computer audio from USB to Speakers and it sometimes changes things. Give that a check.
