Lets me serious here though, other than Swoozie, who else is there on the show that has actual gaming accomplishments? I know PMS Athena Twin is on the show, but, everyone else seems to be no-names in terms of e-sports and competitive gaming.

This is why that show bugs me, the 'Ultimate Gamer' is 90% 'normal gamers' and 10% 'competitive gamers'. How does this show the Ultimate Gamer?

It doesn't.

I just watched the DVR'd first show and SWOOZIE is currently in the #1 spot.
For those who didn't see it.....it was like a gamers version of "big brother". The first week was "Rock Band 2" week.
It was pretty interesting and weird all at the same time......gonna dvr the rest of them and keep pullin for our boy swooz ;)

Lol well actually Geoff is way more accomplished than swoozie is and he use to be a big deal in the north america scene for competitive starcraft.. The guy was beastly and he even represented USA in wcg for one of the years , i dont remember which.. but geoff(iNcontrol) is the favorite among the "real serious" gamers. I do agree that every1 else on the show is just a bunch of scrubs that win either local tournaments or havnt even won anything at all and there all no names in the north american scene. I think Geoff/swoozie are going to be the last 2, but its a reality show and anything can happen. Geoff is my pick tho.. hes so pro

Id take a starcraft pro over a doa pro anyday

very true starcraft takes a lot more than DOA but everybody here will go for swoozie cuz he was part of coL. at once lol, I'm sure swoozie will win anyways.

Rob is the favorite to win it, to me. He's experienced in many different games, although not really pro-level at any.

Geoff is one of the top 5 StarCraft players in America, but I doubt they'll have a strategy game on the show and I doubt he'll really be amazing at anything else.


I found it hilarious that Swoozie and Jamal, "professionals" in fighting games, got as far in the second episode as people who have been playing the game for like 2 days.

At least the girls are (mostly) good-looking?

Agreed. I was rooting for Rob to win also and i was overwhelmed with joy when i saw that Rob was up 4-0 then Mark makes a come back...lol hope they do another season!
