Hey I got pretty good support for the pc I was trying to build from the forums here so I come back for more advice :D. My friend is building a computer somewhat similar to the one I am building (thanks to advice received from people on here) and he wants to know if his specs look good and are compatible. He doesn't have a comp now so I'm doing him the favor of posting here and asking around since I got great advice from the people here on coL forums.

Here are the specs he chose ( some of them he copied from me lol) :

id say go for this PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817152028 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817152028)
it is modular giving his cable management some advantages.

after a bit of looking around and research I came across this. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.172788 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.172788)

now if he buys a nice heatsync and oc's the cpu a bit it get very very nice performance gains.

BFG makes a MEAN psu nowadays, like my BFG 800w ES is a monster and this little 550 watt is very nice.

You 100% do not want to cheap out on a psu! if it goes it takes what ever it wants with your rig.

I recommend this one instead of the previous one i mentioned. It is not modular, but hey OCZ makes a pretty decent psu. It has warranty and its 600w.
