my mx518 is now going dead what am i going to do :willy_nilly: every time i go play source it dies every 5 seconds but not when i'm not in game its pretty strange but anyways who is willing to buy this poor kid a new mouse ill love you forever <3 hehe R.I.P MX518

are you kidding? they die a lot either because people rage and pound them or because they get a lotta hours put on them.. it's a great mouse.

i've had my g5 for several years hasn't died. My buddy has gone through 3 mx518's in one year and never rages. They just die.

uh, do this
Call logitech and tell them ur problem... you will be asked ur pn number and some other number at the bottom of your mouse.. they will send u a new one within a week :p

Mx518 does die, all mice will at some time, but I have had mine for 3 years and its still working as great as the first day I got it.

The problem is the sticker came loose and was causing slag on my mousepad so i ripped it off :-o

Same thing happened to me. I just swapped the power cable with one from a MX510 with a barely-functioning right mouse button. One working mouse and one broken mouse is a lot better than two broken mice.

Dude, get another one. Once you go with a mx518, there is 100% no going back. <3 this mouse. I smashed mine one day with some good old fashion game rage, and went out the next day and got a new one. I got it after I whipped this POS razer I had. They are terrible mouses...lol razer.

My 518 died a week ago. I had it for 2 years and called up logitech and they shipped me a new one. Just call them and you'll get a new one...

I have my mx510 still, its like 6 years old... i also have a mx518 and my brother has a deathadder.. The closest feeling to a mx518 is the deathadder, but mx518 is best of all

My 518 died a week ago. I had it for 2 years and called up logitech and they shipped me a new one. Just call them and you'll get a new one...

Like i said in a past post i would call them but i ripped the sticker off the mouse with the pin number so it won't work.

I've had my 1.1 for about 5 or 6 years and it hasn't died.
