BOE (Built On Energy, LLC) League: Initial Reactions

Would anyone not affiliated with this league like to give their first impression please? With CAL being down, they have a pretty fair chance.

I think they do have a fair chance. The league seems pretty organized (although their site IMO is messy) and I've heard great things about the league from other teams.

From what i heard its just as bad. Admins dont care you can switch teams at any time (my friend knows this from exp) some dude on there team switched to the team they were playing so basically he knew there strats and they got rolled. from what i heard its garbage.

Boe ran their most recent tournament for both 1.6 and source rather well. Working with gamefire, I had the pleasure of both casting and writing about Built on Energy and had a lot of sit down talks with admins. They're all level headed and pretty cool guys, and while they'll have some issues as they are a new league, they'll do a good job.

And by the way, they're not the next cal. They're the next cevo, if that. It's going to me more based on pay to play than it is free.

Open is free, you have to pay for the higher levels.

I liked BOE. I think that the fact that OPEN is free and that higher levels are pay2play is quite good as well.
