Which 40" 1080p HDTV should I get?

As the title says, I'm going to be getting a 40" 1080p HDTV within this next week. Currently, a friend suggested to me two Samsung models: UN40B700 and LN40B550.

I've been posting around the web and even though people have been giving me useful information regarding LCD HDTV's, I have not been given any actual model names or anything like that. So I come here hoping that some of you can comment on these models or suggest new models.

As of now, the HDTV will be used only for TV, movies, and occasionally will be used as my PC monitor for games. I also do not own any console games. I hope this can help and will use any information I can get!

To be honest I was just watching some TV show, they showed a Philips tv that was pretty tight, they showed regular HD and then compared it to the 1080p on the Philips and it blew it away so I would think of a Philips then a samsung, if you would ahve saw wat i saw, it blew Reg HD out of the water, look more into it cuzz i am not sure the of the numbers. :)

LN40B550 for sure, samsung make the best LCDs, i have one myself and its real clear/nice colours =D~

Looked up the T240HD and its too tiny for me. I can't find the 32 you are talking about.

Can you elaborate? I don't understand why it would not be a good quality HDTV coming from Samsung. If you can find the model number that would really help.
