I really wish, that all these big leagues, CEVO/ESEA, and all the big tournament and LAN company's just get it over with. Just make one final decision on which CS is the game to play and just put all the money into it. I know a lot of people who play source at the top level who would be fine with just switching back to 1.6 or even going to a new game if the money was just put there. I originally played 1.6, source came out, some big name teams switched, so did I. I made it to the top and won a championship or two. Then I went back to 1.6, then CGS came out. Then CGS died, what next?

Well now that CGS is dead, teams seem to be going back to 1.6. Who knows if that will change but I doubt it will result in bringing back source, just because the graphics are better

oo Moscow if your the kid I think you are, from 1.6 i used to have a teammate that used to play with you and your team, and said you toggled on and off, so really it doesn't matter :)

Play what you think is better. Personally i'll always stick to 1.6 but if you feel more comfortable playing, and winning source, then play source.

The only team I played with in 1.6 since my FL team in s12 was a main team I played with for 2 days then went back to source. Srry : /

Why should the leagues/lan companies decide what game you should be playing?..
Play what you like not what others like.

I'm pretty sure the CGS died because of financial reasons, right? I believe I read that somewhere.. If true though, then why would it matter? People play Source, others play 1.6. It's all a matter of preference. If a league chooses 1.6 and a team(s) plays Source, they'll either have to switch, or find another league.

CGS died because News Corp pulled the plug on their investment. Leagues can pick w/e games they want, as you can also choose w/e game you want to play.
