Hey guys i was not sure were to post this or how to go about this, because i am not sure how you handle these requests, but feel free to delete or move to the correct area :)

Name of Team:* Abstract EUName of Team Manager or Leader:* Charlie “CruMPeT y0” meadenEmail Address:*

How many months has your team been gaming together?* We are all friends IRL and we were together for 3 months about 6-8 months ago but about 2 months ago we re-made and all wanted to start going huge on GoW2 again.

How many players on your team?* 4 of us.Tournaments, Leagues and/or LAN events participated in during the past 12 months?*Not in the past 8 months as the EU community does not get on with gamebattles as there are too many cheats, but we have been scrimming a lot and will be making a GB team on the 1st of Dec. We have a planned to attend a LAN in Paris in Feb 2010 and Sweden in July 2010. And anymore with a good prize pool.

Team Website URL or GB Link If your team does not have a team Site* At the moment we do not have any links to show, but on the first of December when one of our members gets his xbox back we will have all online activity sorted. At the moment we don’t have much to show for apart from us not going to split, but we are hoping after the LAN in Paris we will be able to get some funding for future events. As for before Paris and Paris we would like to represent your organisation and are a part of it. We are willing to have your tag in our name, but would appreciate the points for the change, if you would like us to change. We are hoping to make at least 1 MLG event in 2010 and by the event we should have proven ourselves and would like financial support (but without sponsorship we are going anyway). As well as general support in relation to preparation and help with competition in general etc etc.

Why we should get a spot in Complexity:
Well we are a strong group of friends and teammates that thrive on competition and getting better, and reaching our limits. We are all very mature individuals and would provide a good image for PwR. We are very willing to help with behind the scenes within the organisation and really be a part of your team. We like to think that we wont get touched by any eu team.

Describe your team's offline organized activities: Well as well as any team we all have things we need to do while not playing the game, 3 of us are in full-time education and 1 of us work full time. This does not affect our practice or possible LAN attendance. Also as a team we like to LAN it up at my house (CruMPeT y0) twice a month.
Describe your team's online organized activities:
Well as a team we practice and play Sunday-Thursdays 7:30 – 10:30, and individual maintenance is expected outside of these times.

Please list any current team sponsors: None, unfortunately businesses are not that willing to touch a team in the EU without them being a part of an organisation, as I guess it shows it from a professional angle. With the help of an organisation I could definitely approach some businesses.

What we would like to do is if we made it in to Complexity we would get another sponsor for Complexity, to help us fund out LAN season, when/if you guys get in contact with us again I would like to give you my plan in a more detailed way (over skype preferably). We really would like to represent what we think is the best EU organisation and we are willing to prove ourselves before you dip into your pockets

My job is to keep the team talking, although CruMPeT is the captain we are all equal but I’m the guy that’s constantly shouting. My pistol is accurate and my shotty is strong. Power weapon wise I like to pick up the sniper and I host for the team.

I spend a lot of time setting strats up and working on things to tweak our team skills before we get into practice. I have good comms, decisive accurate and smart support play, and good shotgun. I will play a holding role for my team if anyone is going solo it will be me.

I play aggressive, but only when needed I make decisive smart moves to hopefully make our team win rounds, I am the team sniper and my general pistol, lancer shotgun play is strong. I often find myself being the person that helps my teammates in and out of power pushes and it is a role I feel confident playing. (team Sniper)

I consider myself a very universal player that can fit into any strat that CruMPeT or any of the others think of, I can change from slayer to support whenever I need, but my Torque bow is very strong and many of our strats often leave me with the bow in my hands to do work with.

Team general overview in short: We all have equal parts to play in the team, and we all fit together like a puzzle. Each person brings as much to the table as they can and well we feel we all compliment eachother. I (Crumpet) run the strats but in games as rapture is a better speaker he will be our main voice while we are playing scrims because that is something he is very good at.

We will be mostly scrimming against US teams so that we can get used to the strats etc, but comp wise we will be playing GB, eu tourneys and any lan that is worthwhile going in Europe. We want to make at least one MLG event in 2010, dependent on placement will depend if we can get the financial support to help us attend.

Our team is a team build on friendship and the chance of us splitting is 0, we plan to move onto different games as the ones we play fade from the competitive scene. We really want to become big and we think that Complexity will help us achieve greatness. We want to go huge in Europe and attend MLG and we are not expecting you to just hand out loads of stuff from the get go. We are a very mature team that is willing to work hard to deserve our spot on Complexity, we are aiming to make loads of videos, stream our games, start reaching out to the community and taking amateurs under our belt and developing them, and of course just dominating LAN events. We all live close, sussex/london apart from cowan (madness) the slacker!

I thought you may want to know what we do on a week to week basis.

This week (30th-6th) we have:
Monday 30th Nov: Started off with some KOTH Free-for-all action, warming up with just shotgun action.
We then played this scrim http://gamebattles.com/xbox360/gears-of-war-2/team/program. They hosted and won the first two maps, and then we beat them, and continued to beat them for the next 3 maps in a row, before they kicked us out of their lobby.
After this scrim we entered into another scrim and again we lost the first two maps, Blood Drive and Avalanche, and then won the rest of the cycle without any difficulty.

Tuesday 1st Dec: We played an entire cycle 2v2 against each other, so that we could tell each other what we could have done differently (any improvements), this helped us with our teamwork as well as our tactics and skills.
After this we did some basic training, including practicing running straight out of spawn, and shooting heads when someone has a meat shield.

Wednesday 2nd Dec: Started off with strats and then went on to play two scrims; a 3v3 against F360, and a 4v4 (with a sub) against iE - who have previously won Dreamhack. This is a link of one of the maps (on our host)against iE. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVdh183NnRY

Thursday 3rd Dec: We were doing general 'King of the Hill', and we played a vVv (off host) winning at least 3 rounds if not winning completely.
We finished off the night by working out smoke spots, so that we can use the smoke grenades more effectively as a team.

Friday 4th Dec: Day-off
Saturday 5th Dec: Day-off

Sunday 6th Dec: Planning on playing some scrims later tonight.

This is an average week practicing ready for events.

Yours,
The players of ABSTRACT EU
