Hello, My name is Adam zittel, CEO of Cyber Sports Network. I first want to state that as CEO of CSN, I have never been affiliated
with any former eSports companies in any capacity. The founders behind CSN have invested a lot of time and money into it's infrastructure to
facilitate gaming leagues and tournaments among players, teams and organizations. I realize talk is cheap and the track record for successful gaming leagues
is poor but CSN will be different, we will make it. I'm very confident in what CSN brings to the table, our vision/staff/features will ensure our
success with the proper management. Cyber Sports Network is being handle like any other business entity, just because it resides online does not mean
it is any different then a brick and mortar business. First impression will be key in the CSN business model so we are making sure every feature CSN
launches with gets tested to ensure it's proper functionality when it goes live. Cyber Sports Network is currently finishing it's alpha testing followed by
a beta testing stage. CSN is set to launch July 2010 followed by our first lan held sometime in 2011 if everything proceeds as planned.
Sincerely, Adam Zittel

in this community and many others, anyway. thanks for the response adam.
Might want to invest in Microsoft Office before you start a league. SpellCheck FTW.

Thank you for the input, I agree with you. We do offer 1.6 but we choose to leave it out of our promo since having 3 cs related clips would be a little much. I hope the cs/css communities aren't to jaded and they give CSN a fair chance to win them over.

To be honest your league sounds interesting and the features you offer sounds nice. But sounds nice, and how things really turn out will be the tide turner. CS players especially are very weary of new comers because we have been back stabbed many times before. I hope you're legit and if you are I wish you the very best of luck.

its doomed to fail
look at how many games you are covering already . Start small then expand , I give this league 1 month 2 weeks and 3 days.

can't take this seriously in the least, ill just directly paste what i posted on esea. deny what i say as im sure you will here you go.
"esea wins by a mile ugly wannabes
btw i just watched that shit promo, any "competitive league" that supports modern warfare is a big fat fucking joke.
TO ALL LEAGUES
COUNTER STRIKE 1.6
QUAKE
STARCRAFT BW / SC2
WARCRAFT3
DOTA / HON
most anything else is irrelevant and fucking pointless, oh and competitive console gaming is also a fucking joke (aside from street fighter)"
this is the absolute truth, any league that wants to be legit should start with the identifiable core games in the competitive community, and work from there.
EDIT: go to www.thecgs.com and tell me what you find, i guarantee its not a gaming league.
best of luck to you adam, you're going to need to earn credibility before you start making a ripple in the community / charging any sort of fees which is always a hard task in this community.
but again, best of luck and i hope to see this to do well.

I appreciate all the input and feedback Cyber Sports Network has been receiving, the good and the bad. I understand that CSN wont be received with open arms by a large portion of the gaming community, and that's ok. My goal is to prove the naysayers wrong and I plan on achieving this through hard work and dedication. We will continue to listen to the community in order to make CSN a success and promote eSports in the United States in a positive light.
Sincerely
Adam Zittel

Just mad that MLG is better than PC Gaming.
oh and competitive console gaming is also a fucking joke (aside from street fighter)".
I love PC gaming, and what an amazing league as much as you. But saying things like that are very un-informed. MLG is probably THE best league at the moment, and the games there are taken VERY seriously. If a PC league could take a few ideas from what MLG has done with Halo, the scene would be a much better place. Not stale with the same players tournament in, tournament out and with little money about.

MLG has a huge advantage because they have a cooperative developer in Bungie making their flagship game.

This is 100% correct.
MLG has a huge advantage because they have a cooperative developer in Bungie making their flagship game.
Very true. But maybe there is a reason Bungie has been so cooperative towards them? MLG is a professional, serious league that is really good at what it does. My point was to show that console gaming is serious business, just as PC gaming is.

For a league that is launching in July, you think you would have a website that works.

the design isn't to my liking, but it functions crisply. My only problem is the lack of confirmation when you do ANYTHING. Even when you register, it simply shits you out back at the home page. I guess at this point its common knowledge to go to your email from there, but still.
Good job! Waiting to hear first impressions of the client before I even begin to get involved.
