I'm currently #1 in my 1v1 diamond division, sitting at around 630 points. I know that's not absolutely incredible or anything, and I'm still trying to improve, but I'm trying to look to the next step. I would really like to get involved and be able to sign with someone like Complexity, I've signed up for some tournaments but they're mostly all a month away or more, so is there anything I could be doing now?

Practice and do well in those tournaments. Really the only thing you can try and hope for.

Compete in all different tournaments and do well. The big key is to do well on lan. What tournaments are you singed up for? Also, are you going to MLG?

My best tip would be to watch demos. Lots of them. Your own (to look at mistakes you make you might not even notice now) and the demos of players who're already pro. See if you can find the replays from the first MLG event, some good matchups and strats to learn.

Play alot, win alot, make a name for yourself and i'm sure you'll get the spot you want.

do MLG probably your number one way.. Other than that keep practicing.. online tournaments..and get your elo above 750+ -- not sure what your APM is ( i know sc2 doesn't really measure it) but you should be sitting around 150+ APM. IMO --- depending on race. =o)

650 diamond, thats a joke -_- 1k diamond barley hits the "decent" mark if even that.

Ooh pick me pick me!! not.

coL was too late in joining the starcraft scene which is by far the biggest computer esport and the most competitive game globally. Silver isn't going to win anything big for coL, he isn't even a top 10 in the U.S, which quite frankly sucks compared to Asia/EU.

Koreans will completely shut out the rest of the world in terms of skill level sooner or later though.
