Monday is the last Cup tournament to qualify for Intel Extreme Masters’ Counter-Strike event for 2010. There will be three spots available to teams and with EG, coL and many of the top teams already qualified there’s open spots available.
Each team that qualifies will be entered in the Group Stage and be eligible for prizes on any match they win. $36,800 is available to the 8 teams who make it past the Group Stage and play at the American Finals in New York during Comic Con, October 8th-10th. Each of the eight teams will receive $1,000 at the event for travel expenses with the rest of money coming later.
The top teams at the American Finals will move on to the World Championships later this year.
