Outtakes, etc.. heard it's really good.. I haven't seen the 2nd disc yet though. I had a preview copy around a year ago.. haven't got the full 2-disc copy yet :)

yeah i got that cd and its mainly about 3d and them in WCG cpl stuff like that and it has the directors making the doc and the last 1,6 between coL and 3d like 5 mins of it

I bought it and they sent me two copies of it..... I want to send it back to them because they really did work hard on it. On the doc scale I would say it got a 8.9 - 9.1/10 for me. I am more of a documentary guy though I enjoy learning about history, and most of all E-Sports.

I just watched it and I have to say... awesome!!!

I was enjoying it like a good cinema movie!

It's good, but its kind of funny when I paused on the cs clips they used. The clips almost were never from the right matches lol.

I am still considering buying this! The only thing is that $34.99 USD is way to much money for this, since with the currency conversion puts this movie at almost $45cdn. Ill wait till their is a sale, or something.

i thought the movie was pretty good, but honestly i was expecting more from it. i didn't get the 2nd dvd and that probably has more of the footage i was looking for. if i were you i'd buy the book game boys, its much better than the documentary.

alot of the footage is from 3d's tour of china, and you can find that for free on youtube somewhere. i thought fr@g movie was better than e-@theletes as well.

yea, i just downloaded it from a torrent site and I am happy that I didn't spend $35usd on it... Thats all I have to say.

FRAG is a much better esports movie in my opinion

I just watched E-Athletes last night, and thought it was pretty good! Sure, the production value wasn't as high as FRAG, but I liked them both equally.

I mean, FRAG was pretty related just to Quake, and a bit of CS. E-Atheletes was all CS, and about probably the greatest rivalry in CS in North America (Although, we could have a new one coming up with team EG) ;)

So, CS deserved it's documentary. I liked it =)

I liked e@theletes more than FRAG...mainly due to the fact FRAG was way to depressing. It's like, "lets cover everything that is wrong with eSports in a documentary, and not cover anything that's ever been done right"....kinda pisses me off lol. It colors the sport in a bad light, like if the only thing you knew about base ball was the chicago black socks of 1919 or the only thing you knew about boxing is that it was fixed in the earlier part of the 20th century. It paints a partial picture, whereas e@theletes painted a more full picture, if only on the two teams it was covering.

Overally i'd rate e@theletes a 9/10, and FRAG a 8.5/10...mainly due to the fact FRAG doesn't really show any good anywhere :/

Yeah but FRAG was just covering the things people didn't know, and e-atheletes covers the fun loving side and i need to know the name of that song xD

oh and the thing i didn't like about frag was how they tried to make gamers look like pimpin' gangster rappers and all cool and hardcore....kind of sad/gay
