Catchy intros asides, the past few weeks have been pretty busy for me with standardized tests, new and old hobbies alike starting up, and an upcoming month with what seems like a million LANs scattered around the world. To start, I’m excited to say that I’m a proud new father of a new and wonderful addition to my family: Taylor. Taylor Made golf clubs, that is! With the help of the women’s golf coach at my school (friend of my family), I picked up a set of Burner irons and the new R9 driver along ...
Hello radicoLs! Wow, it's been quite a while since I've been able to say that and I have to admit it feels quite good to be back with compLexity. I'm really excited to be playing with some of my best friends in CS, especially in an organization that I know has our best interest in mind and will be supporting us at all our future events. We had to take a 1.5 hour taxi to Gothenburg, Sweden before our connection flight through Frankfurt, Germany. Overall, it wasn't too bad for most of us East-Coasters, but I'm sure Tom's trip was a bit more brutal as he had a 4-hour Flight after he got back into the United States. Overall, even though we're a bit disappointed with our performance vs. mTw, we're satisfied ...
Just checking in from Sweden to give everyone some pre-Dreamhack updates from the coL camp. We got into Jonkoping yesterday and spent some time at the A6-center, aka the main mall here. Today, we slept in then went and checked out Dreamhack in the Elmia part of town to get a feel for what to expect this weekend. To be honest, it was a bit strange to see the massive amount of people all there to play video games. Dreamhack has 4 large exhibition halls full mostly of BYOC gamers, ...
