Star Wars and Kids

So, after years of waiting, last weekend I finally watched Star Wars with my kids.

It was a surreal experience that was simply amazing. I had flashbacks of watching the movie with my dad and remembered how amazing the characters are to young folks.

I spent more time watching my kids than the movie. The looks of amazement when they first see characters like C3PO, the Sand People and Chewbacca were priceless. Watching their eyes get big during blaster fights and when Darth Vader entered the room was incredible.

I guess you need to have kids to fully appreciate what I'm getting at, but watching your childhood favorites with your own children is definitely a memory worth saving.

    Got to love Star Wars. I'll be sure to watch all of them with my kids... which hopefully won't be for a while.

    my dad was never that cool ( I had to find the magic of star wars on my own! Of course I went a little further than just the movies, but it was still amazing.. Hehe at the risk of sounding like an even bigger nerd than spending my time on gaming websites makes me, the books are amazing too!

    I think the books are better than the movie honestly, atty. The movies always helped you picture everything better, though!
