So excited...

Hello radicoLs! Wow, it's been quite a while since I've been able to say that and I have to admit it feels quite good to be back with compLexity. I'm really excited to be playing with some of my best friends in CS, especially in an organization that I know has our best interest in mind and will be supporting us at all our future events. We've already started putting in time at practice to make sure we all get on the same page and attempt to come up with some of the best tactics that our collective minds can create. Already penciled in on the LAN calendar is WCG USA which will take place in Los Angeles September 10th-12th and, even though we unfortunately have to use a ringer for David (Xp3), we're all pretty excited to compete on LAN together (in Jason Lake's backyard, as well!).
Last night, we competed in ESL's Online Cup #3 and won the entire thing beating MH, SK Ladies, and UE along the way. In winning the event, we qualified for the online group stage later this year which will feature 16 battling it out for 6 spots at the LAN Finals to be held in New York City. It's been quite a while since I've graced the Big Apple with my presence (surprised I'm not banned from the city limits for being such an idiot) so I really want to make sure we're in the best shape possible coming into the Group stage. We also just signed up for EG's Masters Cup which will feature 64 teams competing for $3,000 and a trip to China (along with the winner facing EG in a Best of 5 scenario with the challenging team receiving 5 MSI laptops if they win).
We're discussing potentially doing a 2-week long bootcamp in Charlotte sometime in the near future so that could be a pretty neat experience as I've missed the Queen City and really want to go eat at some of the great restaurants there (can someone say Yu-Yus?). Hopefully by combining Xp3's aggressive style towards CS with my methodical approach we'll be able to come up with a play style and "strat book" that will be able to compete and beat anyone that we face.
I've also recently started playing a lot of online poker (if you guys want to call me tr1p v2 I'll probably love you forever - he's the man in CS and poker!) so that's been taking up quite a bit of my time outside of CS. I'm sure there are some Jokerstars players and Full Tilters out there so I want you guys to link me to some of your worst bad beats in the comment section. I've found that laughing at other people's misfortune somehow comforts me when I get mad over the randomness of the game!
Well, I guess that's all for now. I'll end this by saying thanks to the players and managers for giving me another chance and making a personal promise to the coL community that we're going to do all we can to reach even greater heights and bring championships back to coL before 2010 is over.
