TLDR: I'm going live on Twitter: coL_Lake
An honest blog about Twitter, e-Fame and celebrity in eSports
Greetings!
Today I'm finally taking the plunge. I'm actually going to use the Twitter account I set up 3 years ago. Why in the world blog about it? Well there may be a few (we're talking maybe a dozen) people who will be curious why I've avoided the popular social media format for so long. Thus, a good reason to drop a blog on my favorite website.
So today I decided to take the kids on a "treasure hunt." We cruised to the Valley and bought a metal detector and then down to Malibu and hit the beach. Although we didn't find squat for an hour, we found a DIME buried about 6 inches deep right before we left.
So the next time you fire up NatGeo or Discovery channel... watch out! Might see us Lake treasure hunters!![]()
Well, I was driving to pick up Jordan from preschool today and thought it felt pretty hot out for January. Took a picture of my car's dashboard.
Enjoy you snow bunnies!![]()
Ok, I'm not a queezy person. Also, I tend to like spiders. However, this summer in California (at least where I live) has been a serious overdose. Every morning the backyard is littered with spider webs and some of the 8 legged freaks are pretty damn big.
I was letting it go but on Sunday we found a black widow in the kids' toy kitchen:
Then, as if that wasn't enough, the VERY NEXT DAY my wife left the back door open for one minute
So my son, Jordan, and I have recently embarked on some pretty hardcore gaming adventures so I thought I'd share.
First off we took on "Ty the Tasmanian Tiger." It's an old XBox game I dug up, and boy did 'ole Ty kick some ass. We roamed around the Outback chucking boomerangs at the bad guys, collecting jewels and fighting lizards, sharks, spiders and giant killer robots. Serious action as we saved baby Koalas for eminent death.
