After beating out WeMade Fox to advance to the EM III Global Finals, wNv-Gaming will not be competing in March due to Liu 'Savage' Bin being denied access to enter Germany.
wNv-Gaming, once considered one of the top Counter-Strike teams in the world, qualified for the Global Finals after the Chinese team beat out WeMade Fox in the Continental Finals.
However, the team announced earlier today that they will not be competing in Hannover in March due to Liu "Savage" Bin being denied access to enter Germany.
In November 2008, Bin was also denied access to the country when wNv was set to play in the WCG Finals.
The team has also confirmed that Bin and teammate Yi "zy" Zhou have left wNv. According to a statement released by the team, Zhou has left to focus more on his studies, while Bin's plans are unknown.
There is no official word from the ESL yet, but an official decision is expected fairly soon as to a replacement team to take wNv's place.
