Going a bit off topic, I need/want a desktop though. This isn't ideal for playing CS hehe. I would use the laptop for school, and use my desktop to A. Play games B. Store music, old schoolwork and C. Make movies/screw around with Vegas.

Lol Jason Lake's laptop played CSS better in the apartment then the computers did in the CGS practice rooms. And he was on wireless LOL

I have an asus gaming laptop, as well as Desktop I built myself. The laptop gets a constant 120 fps on CSS, so your laptop is probably overheating.
