Thread: 60 ping in an LA server?

  1. Default 60 ping in an LA server?

I get a steady 60 ping in LA servers and I live in LA..shouldnt I be pinging 30+? or maybe less

Everything seems fine, recoil is not choppy etc. But it feels like im not getting the full potential of my internet juice while playing cs lol.

Has any1 ever had this problem?

    If anything please help =/

Give us the IP and i'll check. Could be an ISP issue.

I have had this problem before...it could either be your settings arent saving when you max them out...or by any chance are you using a router in your house or wireless? That could also keep from having full potential from your internet

Well i can tell you right now currently I live in the LA area, and usually at 5-10pmish i constantly play with 30-40 to a socal, 60-70 on a Dallas and so on. It's been this way for a few months now when I use to get 10 to socal, and 40-50ish to a Dallas. Haven't found out a way to fix it but I am using a wireless router. my ISP is timewarner/roadrunner.
