Cs 1.6 ladder speed boosts

Ok so i switched from source and im actually putting in time learning sprays and crouch hopping all that stuff that i never did in source and i was wondering if someone could help with the ladder trick i cant seem to get it. lol Thanks
And iv watched videos they dont help me ...

Basically, climbing a ladder using a strafe-key on top of the usual W/S will give you a significant boost in your speed. What you do then is climb ladders by using both keys (usually w+a or w+d but s+a and s+d work as well) with your view angle slightly twisted to the opposite side, so you'll still climb vertically but significantly faster.

This speed boost allows you to move quicker through ladders, and also allows you to reach greater heights when coming out of it, which then allows you to do a few nifty tricks like getting on top of the boxes in mill's A site by yourself, or quickly moving through trains in de_train .

Air-Strafing .

Look up Strafe Jump/Long Jump guides in youtube or whatever, and you'll get a feeling of what CS1.6 movement is like.

These types of movement requires agility, training and luck. Even professional players make mistakes once in a while ... Don't think that you will do the same movement like a PPL's in one week, be patient and one day you gonna make this and say: so easy
