I don't mean to be rude, but what's with the sudden influx of all these "application" threads.

I'm pretty sure if coL wants to pick up a team, they will do it on their own terms, not based on an application given to them randomly on the forums.

It's not rude anyway, if you've read the post we clearly stated that we knew comLexity wasn't looking for a COD4 Squad atm but still we let our contact info, even too i'm not used to post on a forum as it doesn't look professionnal, we thought it was the best decision to at least ''maybe'' get an answer ''yes or no'' as many org nowadays seems to just ignore teams.

The reason we've posted here is because we've heard the org was good, so why not give it a try ? You never know

I agree monk, Jason is always one step ahead of the game and if he didn't do it already then he did it for a good reason. But its cool to see that coL is so badass that everyone wants a piece! its like a country club, but cooler.

    **compLexity btw.

Also, this falls under the same thing as the HoN question. There is no large revenue or amount of tournaments worth supporting in CoD4 right now or ever again. Unless CoD4 comes out with a tournament whose prize pool is as large as the top SC2 and CS tournaments prize pool is and is very frequent. It is a horrible investment. Sorry, but that is the truth. I give cold hearted advice from a business perspective, not a personal or asinine one.

Most of the COD4 Tournament are around 3k prize pool in France and even more in Europe, not so long ago a LAN was around 9k so I don't really know from where you get that information about low cash prize @ cod4 tournament lol (must be low compared to SC2 but not that different from the beginning of COD tbh)...but then you could be right I'm not judging your post, I'm quite surprised you say that as the 3 past French lan reached 4k and two times 3k prizes (and I'm only talking about french lan), not to mention I don't really know what is ''low cash prize'' for such org ^^.

But hey if they tell us they doesn't want to let us a chance it's all ok, that is just a simple Application post afterall, with all theises post it seems like I did something unallowed on here haha :P

Put it this way. 3k,4k,9k, even 10k; as the top prize pool cash outs still do not even come close to covering a teams airfare, hotels, etc. Say you did get picked up by coL. Ok, now Jason has to find a staff management to send over their to be with the team. That right there is 1800$ in plane tickets. Not to mention he also has to pay the guy monthly salary and boarding. And now the tournament comes up. Ok, now the team needs to travel to a tournament. So coL spends 8k in plane tickets + boarding when their for x-amount of days. When the top prize to win is only 3k,4k, or 10k at the most. Or coL can sponsor a SC2 team that has the chance of receiving 100k, 80k, 60k, 150k in prizes and cash out pools. I am not trying to be rude. However, when CoD4's top prize pools are 4k and thats the size of cash out you get from placing 15-20 in SC2 tournaments and even Leagues now. It is not worth it. Why do you think we haven't seen any action from Fifa in forever. Basically it comes down to this. When it costs equal to or more to sponsor a team and send them places, it is not worth it.

You are right in all of this and our team know that, but we've never claimed for lan support or plane tickets (guess it is here you missread my application and want too far away about this lol), that would be so arrogant from us as they doesn't even know us, but I get your point SC2 is much more interesting in terms of money for such an org, but once again like I said, why not give it a try ? ^^
