No it's not. If they're playing online in the first place, then they already have Xbox Live. Most people don't even pay monthly, they pay yearly through 12 month cards, or such. Originally Posted by I'mheretohelp

It will only be free for anyone playing Grand Theft Auto IV. It's to promote the expansion.

I still haven't used my xbox live 20 month free trial. I dont even know where the card is. Oh well. My little bro has a ps3 but i dont let him go online because it drops my internet every few minutes.
