Tonight on de_dust2, compLexity and EG.usa battled it out in the ESEA Invite division. compLexity was able to start off a good note, taking the pistol round and the following 2 after that, however EG's gun rounds proved to be too strong. coL dropped the next 6 rounds, making the score 6-3 before they were finally able to regain some money for a full gun round. coL was able to win the next two rounds, but that was all they could muster up for the half, as EG took it 10-5. Starting the second half, coL was able to roll over EG.usa on the pistol, however two quick usp shots from fRoD made it interesting. Ninespot was able to take down fRoD, giving coL the much needed round. The win was short lived though, as EG.usa was able to take the next round on a quick buy. EG.usa brought the score to 15-10, and looked to have an easy win, however coL was able to gain some momentum behind the m4 of Drew, winning round after round to make the score 15-14. The final round, however, went to EG as they were able to get two quick kills followed by a bomb plant which secured their victory. It was a good game to both teams!
What are your thoughts on the match tonight versus EG.usa?
dboorN: EG hit the shots they had to hit and the crucial ones that were round-changing. Overall the match went evenly for both sides and on a map like dust2, if you hit the shots they did, then you're definitely deserving of the win. It's always intense playing vs those guys and it's always a treat.It's nice for american cs to put on a show like that in front of spectators to give something exciting to see! Unfortunate that we didn't come out on the right side of the result but nothing much more you can ask for in a match like that.

Tonight, coL.cs takes on Team EG on de_dust2 for ESEA-i Week 8:2. The last time these two teams faced, it was on the same map, where the brand new coL.cs squad took down EG in a momentum filled comeback, taking the match by a score of 16-12. This will be evolution's first match in this heated rivalry so look for him to be ready to play. compLexity and EG are 1st and 4th in the ESEA-invite league, respectively, so there is no room for error with either of these teams, as they will capitalize on any mistake. The match is scheduled to begin at 11PM EST. Stay tuned to the scoreboard below for scorebot and HLTV information.
Pre-Match Interview
coL obviously has a big rival with EG now with the line-up consisting of mainly ex-coL. Do you see the rivalry as a big factor in the game?
dboorN:The rivalry is fun, definitely, but I don't think either team prepares harder for this match as opposed to the others. Something is definitely wrong if you have more to give vs EG than you do vs other teams. We do treat it the same way but I guess there's a little more to the victory if we're able to come out on top!
With the recent roster change can we expect to see some surprising strategies on de_dust2?
dboorN: The roster changes haven't effected strategies as much as they have changed roles. You'll see some of us at a few different spots tonight. As for the other changes, our gameplay runs more off a flow of events rather than strategies. So if we look like we're lost, we probably are. At the same time, we'd like to think there's a method to our madness. Maybe there's not! :D

I always love watching EG and coL play regardless of who wins. It's also nice to see 00 stepping up as some competition to help strengthen American CS so next time any of you guys face the Euros we might have something to cheer about.

Im not judging evolution hes a really great player but I don't think hes consistant like dboorN who is amazing 24/7...thats what seperates most players...like if your the best you should show it. MJ and Kobe = consistant

Didn't know that. That%u2019s to bad hopefully they get picked up by a gaming company that can pay their way to some LAN tournaments.
